This label was used by D.G.G. for their early stereo recordings up until the late sixties (or thereabouts). It is distinguished by the blue and white tulip pattern around the circumference. Later pressings replaced this border with black and white lines. Rarely at the forefront of sound excellence, DGG distinguished themselves with a huge catalogue of superb artists and first-rate performances, and are collectible on this score.
