Nematode worm.

This is the head end of a nematode worm seen emerging from an amorphous mass consisting of the remains of a dead oligochaete worm (much larger than the nematode) heavily penetrated by bacteria.

This worm is one of several which can be seen burrowing their way through the bacterial mass.
